The Brittle Bone Society provides support for people affected by the rare, and painful bone condition Osteogenesis Imperfecta. It provides specialist advice, support and equipment to people with the condition, their families and carers, medical and other professionals.

Story

This July a band of students and solicitors will be competing in the British 10K on behalf of the Brittle Bone Society, a small UK charity which supports people affected by the rare and painful bone condition  Osteogenesis Imperfecta. It provides specialist advice, support and equipment to people with the condition, their families and carers, medical and other professionals.

Five of our seven runners - George Hudson, Owen Liggett, Dom Tivey, Helena Page and Ben Phillips - are in the Sixth Form at Haileybury College, Hertfordshire. Young, keen but inexperienced, they'll be looking for some fast times to do their peers proud.

Our other two runners, Pat Stafford and Will MacDonald, are solicitors from the London office of Jones Day law firm. They are veterans of the British 10k, numerous marathons and even Iron Mans!

We're looking to raise around £2500 for the Brittle Bone Society. Any donation, even a few pounds, would be greatly appreciated.

Wish us luck!
