Invesco Perpetual 24 Peaks Challenge · 29 September 2007 ·

The young people we work with need our help more than ever. They face challenges and may live in potentially harmful or disadvantaged environments. We use outdoor adventure and one-to-one support to empower them to fulfil their potential and lead positive lives in the future.

Story

This event is a team challenge over 24 Lakeland peaks over two days.We are making a pretty big committment to participate in this event for this very worthwhile cause. We have a steep hill to climb in raising funds (as well as few others that we will have to tackle physically!)

We know you get bombarded with requests for sponsorhip but please don't ignore this one! We do need your help, however modest. Be as generous as you can.

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Mitchemp Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.

The Mitchemp Trust is a youth development charity working with vulnerable children who are between the ages of 11 and 14 years. They aim to improve their confidence, self esteem and ability to take responsibility for themselves.

The Trust accomplishes this by providing adventure camps, involving exciting outdoor activities that enable the children to succeed and achieve. They learn to go beyond their own limited expectations and become more confident in their approach to new challenges. They are given opportunities to make their own decisions and to demonstrate their growing self reliance.

The Mitchemp Trust covers all the costs associated with the camps, including transport, clothing, equipment, tents, activity instructors and food. This enables all children to benefit from the camps, no matter what their current situation might be.

The Trust works with schools, social services and voluntary groups to identify those children who will benefit most from this unique opportunity to develop themselves and make a lasting improvement to their lives.
