Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Greg and I are raising money for research into a cure for Langerhans cell Histiocytosis (LCH).  A close family friend has just been diagnosed with the disease, she has undergone an operation to remove a tumour from her skull and her Doctors are now concerned about one on her leg.  There is no cure for LCH and a cure and support is desperately needed for all sufferers and families of this dibilitating disease.  

LCH is a rare disease, caused by an over production of white blood cells known as histiocytes which can cause organ damage and tumour formation .  It effects 1 in 560,000 people and is therefore known as an orphan disease and receives no government funding for research.

Research is funded solely through donations from individuals so we need your help.  Any donation you make will make a difference.

We have decided on the date - 11th / 12th August. Starting at first light on the 11th we will climb Ben Nevis first. Then it will be a drive to Ben Macdui and on to Braeriach.

Have decided to climb Ben Macdui, Braeriach and Ben Nevis which are the three highest mountains in the UK. I haven't told Greg yet so he's in for a shock - serves him right for not getting organised!

Started training today - went for a 1km run and rowed on Dad's rowing machine, plus 100 step ups.

This summer Greg and I are going to climb 3 mountains in Scotland in 24 hours. One of these will be Ben Nevis, we will update you on the other 2 soon.
