Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My name is Frank Blande and I am running the Milan Marathon on 3rd April for Willow.

The Milan Marathon will be 26.2 miles of pure pain but with Pizza, Peroni and Prosecco for afters it’s all worth it!

The aim is to beat 4h00m02s – my previous best – so please please please donate to Willow, a really worthy charity, to give me the encouragement and drive to keep up the training and achieve a PB!

A big, big thank you to all donations in advance!

Willow is the only national charity working with seriously ill 16 to 40 year olds to fulfil uplifting and unforgettable Special Days.

For some their Special Day is the opportunity to return some normality to their lives. For others it is the last chance to fulfil a dream. But for all, it is a life-affirming experience that can lift spirits, reunify families and be a source of strength when it’s needed most.

To date, Willow has provided more than 12,000 Special Days for young adults diagnosed with a life-threatening condition such as cancer, motor neurone disease, cystic fibrosis and Huntington’s disease.
