Story
Every child deserves an education but unfortunately for many Vietnamese children, they are not given the opportunity.
In late November I will be cycling in a group between Hue and Hoi An, Central Vietnam to raise funds for this worthy charity.
We aim to accomplish 300km in three days through the mountain roads including the renowned Hải Vân Pass. A 21km uphill scenic beauty known as "the most dangerous mountain in Vietnam". Presenter Jeremy Clarkson, host of Top Gear, named the road "a deserted ribbon of perfection—one of the best coast roads in the world."
Saigon Children's Charity (SCC) was founded in 1992 for a specific purpose: to help disadvantaged Vietnamese children to get an education and a fairer start in life. SCC builds schools and provides scholarships for Vietnamese children most in need.
