I'm running the Chester Half Marathon, The Great Manchester Run, The Abersoch 10K and the Liverpool Tunnel 10K, all in a month!

Every single day, around 16 people decide to end their own life across England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. People who call Samaritans are often at their loneliest and lowest ebb.

Samaritans have been talking to people about difficult feelings since 1953. They can help people explore their options, understand problems better, or just show them that someone is always prepared to care.

I don't know if my beautiful Nana June called the Samaritans, or even if she knew they existed. But I do know that any money you donate will go towards raising awareness and supporting the work the Samaritans do. And if this means they can help just one person out there who is going through a tough time, the blisters and sore legs will be well worth it!
