Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

UPDATE 21st MAY

We did it!!!!

When embarking on this challenge, I have to admit knowing little of what would be involved.  However, on Saturday myself and 8 other comrades endured mile after mile of rocky outcrops, bogs and windswept hills, completing the course in just under 9 hours 30 mins!

I have been truly touched by the generosity and support we have received, raising almost £4,000 as a team for Brain Tumour Research.  If my legs did not ache so much, I would be jumping for joy!

Many thanks to you all for your help and support in acheiving this great result!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

A few months ago, over a few drinks and in an effort to prove something, some friends and I decided to attempt the 3 Yorkshire Peaks - a challenging 24 mile trek rising in total over 7,000ft which should be completed in under 12 hours. Those of you who know my sporting pedigree will know this will be a a massive personal challenge!

We've decided to donate all funds raised to Brain Tumour Resarch, a national charity based locally and undertaking great work. You can find out more on BTR's great work elsewhere on this page.

You know the drill - Please donate as much as possible, and if you are a UK taxpayer please ensure you reclaim Gift Aid to get an additional 28%!

Please dig deep and donate now!  Many thanks for your support!
