As some of you may well know after suffering a cerebral aneurysm in 2008 and being lucky enough to make a full recovery, I am excited?! to do an abseil challenge on 20th November 2011 to raise money for Headway. http://www.headwayeastkent.org.uk This is Chaucer Insurance's 2011 charity of the year and we want to raise as much as possible for people who have not been as fortunate as me.
I am hoping it won't be snowing in November this year or I might have to skate my way down the 7 storey's of the Fisher Tower Building at Cantebury Christchurch university!.
I've never been abseiling before except off my horse on the odd unplanned occasion so am hoping to land on my feet this time! That would be a first :-)
Please note 70% of the money donated goes to Headway while the remaining 30% goes to the KM charity of the year. (The KM charity team are organising this event.)
