We exists to enhance the experience of children needing surgery in the UK. We strive to advance paediatric surgery by investing in vital technologies and related training that make the impact of surgical procedures easier for children, their families and the medical teams who care for them.

Story

Dear all,

As many of you are aware, I am a trustee of The Children's Hospital Trust Fund - a charity that raises money to provide grants to improve the experience of children treated at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital.  In June 2011, we launched our biggest ever appeal - The Pluto Appeal, which aims to raise £1.5 million to purchase the first surgical robot dedicated to paediatric surgery in the South of England.  The robot will enable surgery to be performed with higher precision than that currently achievable with keyhole surgery, and will enable faster recovery from surgery.  We are well on our way - we have already raised £1 032 000, but we just need help with that last push!!  Olivier, Rob, Fleur, Giacomo, Lexi & George have all very kindly agreed to run the Bupa 10K with me to raise money for this very worthy cause - please donate generously, and we'd love to see you in Green Park on 27th May!
