Sponsored 30 Hour Fast for Haiti Earthquake Relief

1pm Friday 5th March to 7pm Saturday 6th March

Thank you for helping to raise funds for the relief of the tragic Earthquake in Haiti.

Go to www.standrewsoxshott.org.uk for more details.

Today Ruth and I are starting a 30 Hour sponsored fast in support of World Vision’s reconstruction effort for the children in Haiti.  Jamie is being sponsored to go without TV or computer games for 30 hours!

I think we were all very moved by the plight of those in Haiti after the terrible earthquake – particularly children who lost their families.  It has slipped off the front pages in recent weeks, but is still just as acute and now is when the huge job of rebuilding their lives begins.  In Oxshott a number of us are doing sponsored activities for 30 hours from Today 1pm to Saturday 7pm to raise as much as we can for this cause.
