*******Bury Wheelers update  29-09-2009 *********

We completed the ride on sunday just gone, The ride took 7 hours. however add onto this 3 hours for 3 punctures, a trip to Halfords for a new tyre  and a chance to see the Red Arrows as they flew over Southport as part of SOUTHPORT AIRSHOW. All added to a great day out.

We took a few pictures and a few videos to record our trip. copy the address below into your web browser to see the video.

We are 4 guys (Mike, Ian, Nik and Neal) who like to cycle and have done charity rides before so we thought we would do our own.

We are going to cycle to Southport from Bury and back again in a day (hopefully within 6-7 hours). This is going to be 100 miles.

Medequip4kids helps out the local children’s hospital and we though it was worthwhile cause to support.

Two of the group are radiographers at the hospitals where this charity have helped equipping the children’s wards.

We did a similar ride last year and raised nearly £1000 for "Medequip4kids"

We plan to do this on Sunday 27th of September 2009

Thanks for looking and thanks for donating if you do.
