Story

Hello world!

I'm doing this challenge to prove a point, to myself. That if I put my mind to it, I can achieve anything. I, amongst other things absolutely love chocolate and if I can achieve this, whilst giving something back, then that's pretty damn positive.

It's hard to maintain conviction and faith (in yourself, others, anything) when you hear the C word, or when life just keeps pummelling you with bad news after bad. I lost my dad to cancer at a time when life was already a challenge and, almost 2 years later I still sometimes find myself feeling unhinged, unsure and alone.

This is my story. Not all of it, but enough I hope to inspire you to support me in my challenge and to ultimately contribute to a charity who's ethos is underpinned by the words "you are not alone".

So, on with the show.
From the 1st of June 2013 until the 1st June 2014 I am giving up chocolate!!!

Sigh!

I've got less than 48 hours to go before giving up the good stuff and on that note, someone pass me a dairy milk, quick!!
