We support research at St Mark's Hospital to drive clinical improvements for patients

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

St Mark's Hospital has recently provided two of my close friends with caring, committed and, most importantly of all, successful treatment for very serious bowel conditions. Both are now enjoying healthy, happy lives (indeed one of them is leading our 2016 Colon Challenge team!) thanks to the skills of the St Mark's team and advances in treatment over recent years.

However, other friends and close relatives who have suffered bowel disease have not all been so fortunate in their outcomes, and the vital research that St Mark's Hospital Foundation is doing to extend and improve treatments for all forms of bowel disease, including but not limited to cancer, is something that I and the rest of the Colon Challenge team are very keen to support. I hope that you will be too, and any amount that you are generous enough to give, however small, will be extremely gratefully received and will help me to feel that the (hopefully temporary) damage that my undercarriage is about to sustain from 280 miles of bumpy highway is all worthwhile!
