Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Loros the Leicestershire and Rutland Hospice,is a charity whose aim is to enhance the quality of life of patients with cancer, progressive neurological disease and end stage heart, renal and respiratory failure for whom curative treatment is no longer possible. The hospice is local to me and is run by local people for the benefit of patients and their families.

On 25th September, Ian Nutt and myself will be crossing Scotland from Oban to Inverness by kayak, at just over 100 miles of 4 lochs, 3 rivers/canals and several billion midges, it will be a challenging voyage, We hope to raise as much funds as possible for Loros through this venture and would urge you to dig deep and support this amazing Hospice.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now. Thanks for taking the time to read our pages and for donating to this worthwhile charity.
