On September 11th I am cycling from Workington in Cumbria to Whitley Bay in Tyneside.

My chosen charity is the Firefighters' Charity who provide care and assistance to injured firefighters and their families.

I have personally benefitted from their care during my recuperation following my motorcycle accident.

The charity receives no funding from government and relies solely on the fund raising efforts of firefighters throughout the UK.
