Hello! Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The reason behind me creating this page is that last Christmas, 2008, a close family member of mine was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer. So to represent my aunty and family, myself and a group of friends decided to organise a cycling challenge to try and raise as mush money as possiblefor Pancreatic Cancer UK to help fight this terrible illness.  Pancreatic Cancer UK provides help for those with the disease, and provides funding for research into prevention and cure. The charity only recieves 1% of Cancer research UK funding so it is important for peope like us to raise the awareness of the cancer, and to raise as much money as we possibly can to help towards stopping this cancer from effecting other families.(Below is the link for the Pancreatic Cancer UK)

The challeng we will be doing is a 147 mile cycling challenge over 2 days, from coast to coast, Whitehaven to Tynemouth. Training has already started for this and we will have to keep up the hard work if we are to finish the mileage in 2 days! (Below is a link to the Coast 2 Coast challenge)

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you for taking your time out to read our page. Please sponsor as much as you can for this very worthy cause, whether it be £1 or £100, every single penny will help towards raising as much money as we can. The page will be updated reguarly with posts and pictures so please come back to see how we are doing.

UPDATE - Sadly Kathryn Fallows passed away at 5-30 pm on Christmas eve surrounded by her family exactly one year to the day that she was diagnosed with this dreadful disease. Kathryn's  courage and determination surving through the year setting 'one goal after another' was truly remarkable, notable milestones linked to her three childrens 10th,15th and 18th birthdays and her last family holiday in Turkey despite enduring severe pain with dignity and unbelievable resolve throughout most days of the year. She was truly an inspiration and has made our pledge to raise £3000 even more important to us all. Please help us to make inroads into our target with even the smallest of donations much appreciated.
