<p><strong>WE DID IT !</strong></p>
<p><em>On Saturday 24th March my sister Steph and I did the Larne half marathon in memory of my baby boy Aaron, who died just 9 weeks earlier.</em></p>
<p><em>I am extremely proud of what we have achieved and for doing something positive so soon after Aaron's passing.</em></p>

<p><em><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="color: #993366;"><strong>In memory of Aaron</strong></span></span></em></p>
<p>Aaron was born on 29 September 2011 and the doctors fought for his survival in the Intensive Care Nenonatal Unit in the Royal Jubilee Maternity Hospital In Belfast. It was clear that Aaron was critically ill with many complications and despite two operations and periods of slow progress, the complexities of his little body proved too much and he passed away peacefully on 17 January 2012, just 110 days old.</p>
<p><span style="color: #993366;"><em>Words like unique and complex were often used to describe Aaron, but to Steven and I, he was just our precious baby boy and little brother to Ryan.</em></span></p>
<p>My sister Steph and I are raising funds for the local charity <span style="color: #0000ff;"><strong>Tiny Life</strong></span> and any off-line donations will go to the <strong><span style="color: #0000ff;">Perinatal Trust Fund</span></strong> for the Neonatal Unit .</p>
<p>We miss Aaron terribly, but want to raise funds for this special cause because every day very premature and critically ill babies are born, and it is a very traumatic time for the families concerned.</p>
