Reading Single Homeless Project’s Big Sleep Out 2010

On Friday, April 23, our intrepid team of five hardy Ascot-based souls will be snuggling down in their cardboard boxes for the night in aid of the Reading Single Homeless Project.

Our MD Phil Green is a lifelong “Loyal Royal” so he needed no persuading to bed down at that temple of football, The Madjeski Stadium.   The rest of us are tapping into our inner girl guide/boy scout to enter into the spirit of sleeping under the stars, (as long as we don’t freeze our ging gang gooleys!).

Although we aim to have fun in our thermals that night, there is a serious reason why we’re doing this.  By sponsoring our Sleep Out and donating to our page you will be directly helping homeless people in Reading to turn their lives around.

Your donations will help RSHP provide counselling, housing related support, employment education and training, alcohol education and support and good quality accommodation for some our local area's most vulnerable people.

A bit of background on CBS:

At CBS our commitment to hard work and helpfulness towards our clients naturally extends to a desire to support our wider community.

The whole CBS team are involved in our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) work. Not only are we able to make a real difference to the numerous projects we support but also we all benefit from the feeling of satisfaction and achievement knowing that we have contributed to worthwhile causes.

We are proud that our contributions have recently been recognised through the Pride of Reading Awards for which we won the Business in Action section.
