The current club house has been standing for over 40 years and has recently been demolished. This is being replaced by a new, modern glass fronted structure and we </span><span style="font-size: 10pt;">still need to raise around £75,000 over the first half of 2012 in order to complete the building. </span></p>

<p style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">We will be cycling for 24 hours and completing at least a 1000KM (621 miles) by using 2 static bikes to complete the virtual distance from Copley CC around all the Test grounds in England ending up at Lords!!</span></p>

<p style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">The club has received unbelievable backing from our sponsors, mainly the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and Yorkshire County Cricket club (YCB), we have NatWest Cricket Force (NWCF) County Showcase status for 2012 and have recently received notice that the ECB have made Copley one of only three National Showcase Clubs under NWCF. As part of this the club has recieved grants and donations to cover a large proportion of the building costs but must still raise around £75,000 over the first half of 2012 in order to complete the building. <br> These new facilities will help encourage, build and grow the already established links with the local community, with the plans including increased community and function space, improved facilities for girls and the disabled, and new changing rooms and showers. They will also benefit the growing number of Junior cricketers that already participate in the 6 different junior teams that Copley currently boasts, providing opportunities where all young people, irrespective of background and ability, have the everyday opportunity to play cricket and other competitive sports and enjoy physical activities to the benefit of their self-esteem, health, education and future socio-economic potential.</span></p>
