Story
The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the UK's only national charity dedicated to all aspects of Cystic Fibrosis (CF). It funds medical research aimed at understanding, treating and curing CF. It also aims to ensure people with CF receive the best possible care and support throughout their lives.
We are a small group of runners who have decided this year to run the 13.1 miles of the 2007 Great North Run in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. Some of us have CF, some are friends and family and some are doctors and nurses involved in CF care.
This year could be critical for Cystic Fibrosis, the Trust is running a big campaign to try and develop a potentialy successful gene treatment.
So can you help make our efforts all worthwhile by donating to this great cause?
That's where this website comes in; it's the fifth such site we've used and with lots of peoples help we have managed to raise over £40,000 for various great charities. This means that some of you may have already sponsored us in previous years in which case can we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. BUT we are doing it again and this year is more important than ever so see what you can spare and give what you can.
For those of you who missed our previous appeals, now is your chance!
Some people aren't as keen on the internet and we do take donations in the conventional way just send them to the address below but this website makes things so much easier, just follow the links below. Either way as long as you confirm that you are a UK Tax Payer the CF Trust gets the money fast and an extra 28% in Gift Aid from the government at no cost to you.
Thanks for your help
Lots of love
