My cousin Gary is in the forces him and his friends have given me inspiration to try and do my bit to help because they risk their lives on behalf of us year after year. We all read about the servicemen and women getting wounded in the newspapers everyday this has really made me think that I wanted to do something to help our heroes. So I have decided to get off my PlayStation and onto my bike and do something really practical to support what they are doing. This will be an enormous challenge for me I have never done anything like this before never mind 350 miles! With all the support that my wife Karen, and my kids Neva and Luke have given me, along with the rest off my family this will be one of the best things I have ever done. I am so happy to be doing the ride for such a great charity. I am prepared to do the hard training that's needed to show my support for the real heroes of this country.
