<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit&nbsp;our JustGiving page.</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;"><span style="font-size: small;">&nbsp;</span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;"><span style="font-size: small;">On Saturday October 22 a team from Chailey Heritage School will take on the Beachy Head Marathon - a challenging 26.2 miles of what the organisers describe as &ldquo;undulating&rdquo; countryside.</span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;"><span style="font-size: small;">&nbsp;</span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;"><span style="font-size: small;">This event is one of the biggest and toughest off road marathons in the UK and starts and finishes in Eastbourne. It is open to runners, walkers and joggers who will tackle some 3,500 feet of ascent during the course of the marathon which returns along the cliffs of the Seven Sisters and Beachy Head.</span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;"><span style="font-size: small;">&nbsp;</span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;"><span style="font-size: small;">The Chailey Heritage School team will be walking, rather than running, but hoping to complete the event in a good time &ndash; or possibly just hoping to complete it.</span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;"><span style="font-size: small;">&nbsp;</span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;"><span style="font-size: small;">The 12 strong team consists of Sylvia Lamb, Simon Yates, Rob Taylor, Susan Webber, Liz Hawken-Alison, Katie Huxley, Carol Scholes, Chris Russell-Vick, Bill Fuller (Clinical services), Liz Platt, Jon Smith <span style="background-color: #ffff00;">,</span>Duncan Elliott </span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;"><span style="font-size: small;">&nbsp;</span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;"><span style="font-size: small;">All the money raised will go towards the new 19+project and some much needed sensory equipment for the swimming pool.</span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;"><span style="font-size: small;">&nbsp;</span></span></p> <p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
