After agreeing to this challenge at a slightly tipsy Industry event, it suddenly dawned on me, the enormity of the challenge I was taking on. As a very amateur swimmer, who has never done any competitive or even open water swimming, this was going to take a lot of training and hard work...but most of all, courage! 

Attempting what many foolhardy convicts tried, and failed, with fatal consequences, we are up against strong currents, tides, very cold, choppy water, and...SHARKS! 

It all happens on Sunday 17th March in San Francisco. Wish us luck...and most of all, please sponsor me! I'll try to live to tell the tale, promise!
