<p>CIDO has chosen Marie Curie as their Charity of the Year 2010 - 2011 and are hosting a range of events throughout the year to help raise money for this very worthwhile cause. </p>
<p> </p>
<p>On 02/09/11 staff of CIDO joined thousands of others and battled the weather to participate in Walk Ten. It’s a 10k (6 mile) walk around the grounds of Stormont, which consisted of 2 laps of the grounds of Stormont. </p>
<p> </p>
<p>On 11/11/11, CIDO are hosting a Blooming Great Tea Party, where those attending can plant a daffodil bulb in our 'Field of Hope' in memory of someone they love, followed by tea, coffee & treats!</p>

<p>All monies raised will be donated to Marie Curie who need to raise £10,000 every hour of every day to carry on their work. Marie Curie nurses provide vital nursing care for terminally ill people and every £20 raised could pay for an hour of nursing care.</p>
