Story
Over many years the CIH Presidential Appeal has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for charities and good causes across the world. Geraldine Howley, the current President, has chosen the Prince's Trust as the focus of the Presidential Appeal for 2015-16.
Almost one million young people in the UK are not in work, education or training. In fact, you could fill every premier league football stadium in this country with unemployed young people and still have a queue of 200,000 outside. The Prince's Trust wants to change this.
"We work with people aged 13-30 who are either struggling in education, at risk of exclusion, through to those who are long term unemployed," explains the Trust. "We strive to help those who are hardest to reach. Many people we work with face issues such as homelessness, mental health problems, or have a history of substance abuse. We support these young people to get their lives working, whether that means accessing education, employment and training."
Geraldine said: "A real passion for me is improving the lives of young people and I hope you will support my chosen charity, the Prince's Trust."
