Post swim update: We swam 1281 lengths which equates to 32Km and 1 length. Of that, the staff swam 940 lengths which is 23.5Km (so well beyond our initial target of 20Km).

Several of us at Freemen's have decided to raise funds to support Marie Curie Cancer Care with our own Swimathon. Some of us will try to swim 200 lengths, a mere 5 km, on our own and others will attempt to swim that distance as part of a team. However we complete the distance we hope that you will sponsor us and support Marie Curie.
Marie Curie Nurses provide day and night care and support to people with cancer and other terminal illnesses. It costs £20 to provide one hour of nursing care and every £1 raised will make a difference. We don't mind how you sponsor us, either through this website or offline, we just want your money! Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Our Swimathon takes place in the CLFS pool on Sunday 25th April between 12 noon and 4pm. If you would like to come and cheer us on and support us we'll be pleased to see you.
