Congratulations to Jayne Bowyer, our winter raffle winner

And she is not the only winner. The £9,100 raised by the raffle is doubled to £18,200 with matched funding, all of which will benefit Opportunity International (www.opportunity.org.uk).

Funds will go towards our target to build a new hub for Opportunity International in the Mulanje region of Malawi. This branch will service the poor tea farming community and support the mobile bank our activities funded in 2009.

Jayne said: "I wanted to raise money for Opportunity International and thought the raffle was a good way to do it. I didn't expect to win, but I have an eleven-year-old Ford Fiesta that's on its last legs. I don't know what I'm going to do with it yet, but I'll be driving the new one as soon as I get it!"
