Oxford to London - 70 miles

 

Some years ago in 2003 to be precise, I was pursuaded for the Charity Cancer Research to cycle coast to coast with my Dog Bertie as a travelling companion,between us we raised in excess of £1000. I am intending to do this again on behalf of Carers Resource, albeit over a much shorter distance as I have become considerably older & Grumpier since then. My wife Judy will be with me mainly to see that I don't frequent too many pubs on my way or get up to any mischief so you can rely on her to see that we achieve what we set out to do. I need to raise money for this worthy cause and am hoping that you will sponsor me generously. The total distance to be travelled will be 70 miles so I shall leave you all to arrive at an equitable donation.
