Trust PA Spinal Injury Charity, was set up in memory of Paul-Andre Blundell (PA), who was totally paralysed during a rugby tackle and later died. He had hoped to benefit from the work to restore movement and sensation. TPA funds pioneering repair operations as seen on BBC TV. 10-12 more needed asap.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

UPDATE: All three Wettons summited successfully on the 09/06/11 at around 8 am, the precise time is a bit of a blur with the altitude. The climb was full of highs and lows with a great group of people, providing a constant physical and mental challenge. So please continue to donate to a very worthwhile cause.

During June I will be attempting to climb Mount Kilimanjaro with my daughter, Clare, and my son, James.

We have picked a charity each to fund raise for. My chosen charity is Trust PA.

Trust PA was set up in memory of Paul-Andre Blundell (PA), who following a tragic accident whilst playing rugby for Keynsham RFC, spent five months paralysed before he died. He had hoped to benefit from recent scientific advances. Trust PA is working to help fund the Spinal Research Clinical Trial Initiative to test treatments for the repair of spinal cord injury.

The Wetton family are actively involved (both on and off the pitch) with Keynsham Rugby Club, who in honour of PA have always supported the objective of the charity, Trust PA. I cannot think of a better cause to support and I would ask you to dig deep in aid of my efforts to get to the top of Kilimanjaro.

Many thanks in anticipation.

Kind regards Craig
