My daughter Mia is 9 years old and has speech delay and learning difficulties.
KIDS Charity have helped us in so many ways, getting a Statement for when Mia started school, so she had a one-to-one Teaching Assistant with her, attending many school meetings and giving lots of helpful advice.
Last year, they helped me through the process of applying for a place at a special school. Mia started her new school last September and is very happy there.
A lot of these procedures are not straight forward, so without KIDS, Mia would not be where she is today.
