Story

Have you ever asked yourself "What's the best thing or the worst thing that could happen" Well the best thing that happened to me was that on 10th April 1986 a little bundle of joy arrived, we called Holly. The following extract from Holly's blog provides the answer to the worst thing........

"I'm Holly Webber, I'm 25 years old and in January 2010 I was diagnosed with advanced bowel cancer. After 18 months of aggressive treatment, combining chemotherapy with three major surgeries, my cancer has now been diagnosed as terminal. I have created this page so that I can blog my story in the hope that I can inspire and help others".

If you would like to read Holly's story and see how how this remarkable young lady has embraced life, please visit her blog; http://passing-cloud.tumblr.com/

Holly is now in the very capable care of The Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice. She is very keen to raise funding for the hospice and for the fight against bowel cancer, both of which rely heavily on charitable donations. I have therefore decided to join the Chris Evans "Decembeard" charity fundraiser which essentially means that I have stopped shaving and started growing a beard. I am joined in this arduous task by a support team of colleagues from Stulz UK Ltd

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
