Everest Challenge Marathon · 7 July 2007

We’re the only charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. That’s why we help children who’ve been abused to rebuild their lives, we protect children at risk, and we find the best ways of preventing child abuse from ever happening.

Story

Hey, well i never thought id say it, but i'm taking part in a marathon! I know im crazy but its for a charity that i am so happy to rasie money for. The money raised will go to NSPCC and will help to set up family support systems, conselling sessions and help protect more children from cruelty. We will be funding the trip ourselves so all money raised will be going to the NSPCC.

The marathon is will be taking us through the foothills of Mount Everest in India but will still take place at around 11,000ft, lowering to the finishing point at 5,000ft. My dad and I are training atleast once a week, alternating distances for preparation of the leave date as October 28th [ish] lol.

Progress is going well at the moment, finding it a bit hard at times, but it has to be done. Im doing my part to make childrens lifes happy =]

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: NSPCC will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me, no matter how small the donation is, every penny is appreciated.

Many thanks for your support. Toodles xxxxxx
