Our gorgeous Sid Shaw was born on the 9th August 2012 - three weeks early. At bith he was a tiny 3lb 14oz at birth and needed help in Whiitington's NICU and SCBU for 18 days. We feel incredibly lucky that fundamentally Sid was born healthy and well just a little on the small side! He spent time in NICU & SCBU to build up his weight and lean to feed. The approximate cost of each day of Sid's care is £1,200 per day!

It is impossible to put into words how grateful we are to the staff of both units for their care of all of us during Sid's stay in hospital.

Please help us by making a donation towards the cost of Sid's care. There is no doubt that Whittington special care baby units saved Sid's life.
