Callum is going to cycle around Richmond Park (7 miles) to raise money for 2 boys, Harrison and Edward who are at high school in Lewa, Kenya. They are two very bright boys and we have committed to fund their education for four years. We are already receiving school reports saying how well they are doing.
Our family visited Lewa, a conservation safari park in Kenya last year and were touched by how much the children want to go to school there and often cannot afford to go.
The guides we had on our safari had been sponsored through the education programme and now plough back their earnings to help other family members go to school. We got so much out of our trip, seeing how they live and work that we felt we should put something back.
Callum and Lachlan will each be doing sponsored events to help raise the money that they need to send out there for the next 3 years.
