Story

This year I will be walking the West Highland Way (WHW) to raise money for charity: anybody wanting to join me; feel free to say they'll attend!

Exact date is still to be confirmed: but is aimed towards the end of july / beginning of august.

Other walkers are free to join me: but be aware that I will be geocaching on the RETURN journey - but you are more than welcome to go solo in your own group either way!

If you want a sponsor sheet: or would like to sponsor me - feel free to PM me or contact me directly!

*Charity is still to be decided! Any ideas on which charity to donate to? Post below! ALL sponsorship will go to chosen charity!

This trip is NOT for the light hearted! I, personally will be bivouacking on the route: i.e sleeping under the stars in a waterproof bag: you don’t need to be that hardcore; if you want to come along but want to stay in relative comfort; there are plenty of B&Bs and hostels along the route; as well as camping places. If you’re planning on other types of camping or going for the comfort route, it may be worth considering going in your own group (everybody travels at their own speed! I walk about 6kph, but less when loaded: and I’ll be meandering off the path to hit geocaches so I’ll be moderately slow overall (and will cover a greater distance)) – so be aware of that if you’re wanting to travel with me!

Be sure to plan ahead and be sure you know what you’re doing and comfortable with both your level of fitness and survival abilities!
