It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope. Together we’ll make that possible.

Story

Pancreatic cancer is a tough one but we’re taking it on. It is tough to diagnose, tough to treat, tough to research and tough to survive. For too long this disease has been sidelined. We want to make sure that everyone affected by it gets all the help they need. We are supporting those affected by the disease, investing in ground breaking research, lobbying for greater recognition of pancreatic cancer and being a voice for everyone involved in the fight. Together we are taking on pancreatic cancer.

Specifically, we are running for the Three Bears Foundation set up by Chris Burn in memory of his mum Jane, who sadly passed away from Pancreatic cancer.  The foundation has already made incredible contributions to the research into pancreatic cancer as well as the support necessary for families effected by this horrible disease.  It has picked up momentum and has got people across the country to lace up their trainers and get running, even managing to get our own Finlay on the road.  They have conquered New York and Yorkshire, and now we move across the border to Edinburgh. The aim is to accumulate the £100,000 in order to set up a research study based at Cambridge University, and with your help we could see that become a reality.

It wont be pretty, but it will be completed, and the benefits of your donations really will be felt by families across the country. Thank you in advance for helping us continue to fight back against Pancreatic cancer.
