Thankfully, his surgeon at the time was nothing short of heroic and &ndash; by using experimental drugs &ndash; was able to work a &ldquo;miracle&rdquo; and, seven years on, my Dad's leukaemia is under control.</span></p> <p style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;" class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-size: 11pt; ii color: black; font-family: Arial; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"> </span></p> <p style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;" class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-size: 11pt; color: black; font-family: Arial; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;">The year 2012 marks the 8-year anniversary of my father&rsquo;s diagnosis and to mark the occasion I&rsquo;ll be running the Virgin London Marathon in April with my cousin Jonathan Broome in aid of Leukaemia CARE.</span></p> <p style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;" class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-size: 11pt; color: black; font-family: Arial; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"> </span></p> <p style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;" class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-size: 11pt; color: black; font-family: Arial; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;">I&rsquo;d love to have your support ahead of the big challenge to help me reach my fundraising target of &pound;2000.
