I am fundraising for Muscular Dystrophy UK’s Duchenne Research Breakthrough Fund. A friends little boy Kerr has this condition and there is currently no cure. Kerr is 5 and appears like most 5 year olds, however Kerr’s muscles are wasting away and he will be completely wheelchair bound by the age of 12. This is only the beginning of a brutal decline. There are lots of possible treatments in the pipeline that could slow the progression of the condition and this is why it’s vital to keep finding the research into these treatments. So please, if you can spare even a few pounds, it will go towards giving Kerr and other children a better chance at life. Thanks.
