We fight for the hope of young people to create a society built for all children

Story

Every year St Michaels Church, where I am vicar, supports The Children's Society through various activities but particularly through our Christingle Services. Due to the current social distancing guidelines, we wont be able to hold most of those activities and services. Despite this the work of The Children's Society is needed more than ever.

The Children's Society write about themselves: "We are a national charity, working with young people to counsel and support them through their most serious life challenges. We campaign tirelessly for the big social changes that will improve the lives of those who need hope most. We've been doing this for 140 years and we won't stop until we've built a society where hope is alive in every child."

About the charity

We are a national charity working to transform the hopes and happiness of young people facing abuse, exploitation and neglect. We support them through their most serious life challenges and we campaign tirelessly for the big social changes that will improve the lives of those who need hope most.
