Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I challenged myself to give up cakes / sweet products (click read more for the full list) for the entire month of October.

I made it through the whole month but the page is still open if you want to donate!

Although this may seem easier than running a race, skydiving or other challenges people set, trust me when I say this isn't going to be easy for me. Before the start of the month I already had plans for the work dinner dance, a halloween party, trips to the cinema and several nights with friends where this type of food will be readily available.

Kith and Kids work with children and young people with learning and physical disabilities. My sister has volunteered countless hours with them, which is why I have chosen to nominate them to receive any funds I raise through doing this.

--------------------

* For avoidance of doubt 'cakes / sweet products' for the purposes of this includes:

All types of cakes

Ice cream, ice cream sundaes, profiteroles, frozen yoghurt

Most other things which may be included in the dessert section of a restaurant menu (except fruit salad or similar)

Chocolate bars, crisps, popcorn, pic-n-mix, biscuits, flapjacks, cookies, doughnuts

Coke (including zero-sugar Coke Zero) and other similar fizzy drinks
