My name is Camilla, I come from Denmark, but I currently live in Glasgow. I have always been interested in charities, and wanted to be a part of one myself, and after coming to Glasgow, I have been introduced to KOP. What I personally find amazing about KOP is the fact that 100% of the money I collect will go to their projects in Kenya, that their student programme is an important part of the organization, that the projects run throughout the year, and not just in the summer, and that they provide the opportunity for me to go to Kenya (I have to pay myself, and of course none of the money collected here will be used for that purpose! All the money collected here will go directly to KOP!) and see how the projects run and how they make a difference in the young people and children's lifes.   

The Kenyan Orphan Project (KOP) is an amazing non-profit organization, that in its 11 years already has made a great difference in Kenya. The organization has provided and supported several feeding centres to the village of Kisumu and other villages in which children can come for two meals during the day and enjoy themselves, a luxury not everyone can afford. KOP also helps maintaining schools and hospitals. KOP works together with the local governments and provide a sustainable foundation for improvement of living standards in one of the poorest areas of Kenya. Please support this amazing project!
