Today, 12 more children and young people will hear the devastating news they have cancer. Cancer is shocking, overwhelming, isolating... and completely unfair. Especially when you’re young. It takes over your life.

I'll be taking to the skies to throw myself out of the plane at a modest 15,000ft, which gives me a whole 60 seconds of free-falling time to think about each £ raised and trying to keep my trousers dry.

A charity personally close to my heart - Young Lives vs Cancer supports the children and their families during the scariest times of their lives, offering financial support, mental support and physical accommodation and essentials for when a family has to pack a bag and rush to hospital hours from home...CLIC Sargent takes away the stresses of "where are we going to sleep" and will keep siblings and parents spirits lifted in every way possible.

Every donation is gratefully received and for every £38 raised, this funds a family to stay for a night in a CLIC Sargent Home from home.
