The Camwood team have finally completed the Three Peaks Challenge having tackled Snowdon on Sunday 13th June! See their account of events and pictures at http://www.camwood.com/blog/the-story-of-the-final-peak/

Well done team! Thanks everyone for your donations!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

See the final blog on the Camwood site www.camwood.com/blog , the team made it to the summit of Scafell Pike. Unfortunately due to heavy bank holiday traffic delays, sheep on the train lines and just about any other possible thing that could go wrong, they had to postpone doing Snowdon. But they still have 5.5 hours in the bank to get this one completed and will be completing it in a few weeks. They did so well and worked really hard so it was a big disappointment to the team not to be able to complete it all in one go. But they are determined to finish within the alloted 24 hours time frame.

Thanks to everyone for their generous donations. It really kept the guys going knowing that they were raising so much money for a great cause.

The team have made it to the summit of Ben Nevis in snowy conditions after a very long and sometimes demotivating walk. You can see that it was quite an emotional feeling finally reaching the top! After a long first peak and legs like jelly they have set off for the Lake District for the next peak at Scafell Pike. Follow our blog for updates and photos as they progress. Wish them luck, they are doing a great job and need our support! Thanks again for all the donations it really has made this worthwhile.

The team are hotfooting it to Glasgow on a Virgin train this morning to begin the first part of the Three Peaks challenge! Watch the Camwood blog to see how events unfold. http://www.camwood.com/blog/

Frank has ripped his walking trousers on an arm rest on the train already! And the team are apparently trying to audition for Blue Peter..they decided cutting the maps up would be a good strategy. This could be an interesting 24 hours!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tomorrow is the big day and the team are raring to go, after 3 weeks of training and some sweat and tears they are ready! Thank you so much for all the donations, it has really helped spur the team on to complete the challenge knowing that we have raised so much money for a great cause.

Watch out for the updates on our blog with pictures of the event! Thanks again and wish us luck!

Training for the Three Peaks Challenge is well underway, Oli has been coached by his 3 year old son and is feeling fighting fit - apart from a slight episode (whilst playing badminton!) and twisting his ankle.

Paul is trading in his 'Green Flash' trainers to get some proper kit, but has been accepted in the gym so he's been walking the inclines on a treadmill.

Glen has outdone himself by trapping a nerve in his neck running up some steps at Liverpool Street (oh dear!)

Keep tabs on the teams training at www.camwood.com/blog and please keep donating it's for a great cause and these guys REALLY need your support to get through this!

Thanks for taking the time to visit the Camwood Three Peak Challenge JustGiving page.

The Sales Team at Camwood have been set a huge challenge for this year of taking on Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in 24 hours!

With a combined team age of around 248 years and not an athlete among them this is a real challenge.

So for the next month they will all be in training and eating heallthy in preparation for this tough task - no more McDonalds and beer!

To help spur the guys on we are raising money for a charity that is close to many people's hearts, please help us to raise much needed funds for Cancer Research.

We will keep you posted on the team's progress with training in the run up to event via our Justgiving page and also on the Camwood blog - visit www.camwood.com/blog

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
