My story

Approx 127 miles along the Leeds & Liverpool canal on Saturday June 11 2011.

The ride will start at 4:30am and will require an estimated 12 hours cycling time plus rest stops. We hope that our friends will show up along route on the canal or even meet up at our finishing destination for a few drinks to celebrate this achievement.

So please dig deep and ensure we have some serious motivation to make us complete this epic ride. I personally will be doing the ride for Manorlands as recognition of how they helped our friend Paul Ellis who I am sure would have liked to do the ride himself. Every amount donated counts no matter how small. So if you want to donate 50p that’s great.

Team members: Nicola Towler, Simon Mettrick, John Bretherick, Andrew & Suzanne Worsley, David Mortimer, Oliver Anderson, Neil Hughes, Paul Leeming, David Wilson.

Providing much needed support on the day will be Stephen Wilson, John & Tina Pollard, Sally Leeming, Gary Phillips & Chris Allen.

Many thanks in advance David Mortimer
