Canterbury Tales 2013 · 10 April 2013

The National Literacy Trust aims to create a society in which everyone has the reading, writing, speaking and listening skills that they need to fulfil their own and, ultimately, the nation’s potential.

Story

In April we are recreating Geoffrey Chaucer's Canterbury Tales: a group of modern pilgrims will walk from Southwark to Canterbury over four days, telling stories along the way.

You can read about last year's pilgrimage in the Guardian and watch video clips here.

And there are still some places left if you would like to join us! Here are the details.

We are raising money for the National Literacy Trust, which transforms lives, supporting those who struggle with literacy and the people who work with them. Please give generously!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
