The Capella Foundation has been born to help increase awareness of medical complications during pregnancy, and to directly fund pioneering medical research projects into advanced methods of diagnosis and treatment.
All money raised goes directly to the 'Twinkle Capella Research Fund' in partnership with St Michaels Hospital, Bristol University and Oxford University, the Capella Foundation directly funds pioneering medical research projects. Most recently a project looking into one of the most common pregnancy complications pre-eclampsia has begun, it is set to really help expectant parents in the future. As a small foundation, 100% of our fundraising goes directly to this incredibly important cause, to enable vital research to be undertaken in order to advance knowledge and understanding of methods of diagnosis and treatment of medical complications during pregnancy.
