Velindre Cancer Charity helps deliver exceptional cancer services to over 1.7 million people across South East Wales. We help pave the way for a future with world-class, research-led treatments and supportive care that can change lives. Together, we will achieve Victory Over Cancer.

Story

Cardiff Blues announced earlier this year that the club captain Matthew Rees is to have an enforced spell away from rugby as he undergoes medical treatment at Velindre Hospital in Cardiff.

The players and staff at Cardiff Blues are now aiming to raise as much money and awareness for the Velindre Hospital as possible to support the amazing service they provide not only to patients but to their family as well.

The region has set a fundraising target of £10,000 for Velindre Hospital.

And if the target is reached over 30 players and coaching staff at the Blues will shave their heads to show their support!

Thank you for your support!
