My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Yes you read correctly, I am planning on cycling from London to Paris nd will be raising money for The Kent Cance Trust.
I am doing this in Memory of my Father who sadly lost his attle with cancer a few years back, he was an amazingly loving and fun man who thrived on a challenge, hopefully I can follow in his footsteps.
There are roughly 100 hundred peope taking place in this event and I will be riding with a couple of very good friends of mine, Tony and Nial. We will be leaving from Crystal Palace on June 13th heading out towards the rolling hills of Kent, we then will have to cross the Channel and from then on spend the next few days riding through northern France, arriving in Paris on June the 17th (Fathers Day), what a fitting day to arrive, certainly wouldn't want to be late ;-)
I am funding the expense of the trip myself, which means that every penny you give will go directly to my chosen charity.
1 in 3 of us will get Cancer at some point in our lives and the race to find a cure is growing ever more urgent, and it is through your kind generosity and my sore legs that we can help humanity try and get that stage closer to combatting this horrible disease.
Please take the time to visit the website for The Kent Cancer Trust and see where your money will be going.
