Last year my old mate Denis and I completed this tough 25 mile walk in 10 hours and 9 minutes. To say that the difficulty of the walk surprised us is an understatement. Our lovely wifes accompanied us for what they claim as the most difficult 12 miles and then retired. I think their chatting must have worn them out (and us).
The walk is set in the Chatsworth National Park and contains 3500 feet of ascent and has a maximum time limit of 11 hours. So, this year were are determined to do a faster pace. We are fitter (?), lighter (?) and know what to expect. We will be joined by Mark and Richard Graham who are obviously as daft as we are.
Everything will be worthwile if we manage to raise even a small amount for the nominated charity 'Break4Kids'.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
We would all be so greatful if you could please dig deep and donate now.
Kindest Regards
Carl, Denis, Mark and Richard
