Just a short note to confirm with you all that we did indeed complete the Lake Vrynwy Half Marathon on 11/9/11...Neil and I finished in 2 hours 15min... not the fastest of times...but we didn't stop once !

Nick Andy and Rob led the way and beat the 2 hour mark comfortably
I am also delighted to report that we managed to raise well over the £500 target I set in the summer...so thanks to all of you for you support!
I am sure Halton Haven would also like to pass on their thanks for your generousity.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Together with my good friends Neil, Nick, Rob and Andy we aim to tackle our first half marathon together on 11/09/11 ....at Lake Vrynwy.
I am raising money for Halton Haven - a local Hospice in Runcorn that cares for people over eighteen years of age with life-limiting illnesses living in Halton and surrounding areas
Its a charity close to my heart as it cared for both my Dad (Bill) and Step Dad (Bob) in their final weeks.
It costs around £1.9m a year to ensure the Hospice, with limited state support, can continue to support 12 in-patients and 60 day patients a week. Your support here is very much appreciated. Thank you.
